- Work with Executive Leadership to develop the IT strategy to support business initiatives.
- Develop plans for required resources, capital/operating budgets, and personnel to support the achievement of IT strategic goals and business goals.
- Effectively coordinate all aspects of the execution of the realization of IT strategy and business goals through a subordinating management structure, and by influencing senior business executives.
- Integrate acquired businesses' systems, personnel, programs, and infrastructure holistically into the Bank's environment.
- Provide for the requisite infrastructure to support and enhance the effective use of technology in support of business activities throughout Investors Bank.
- Be responsible for the delivery of services and initiatives within budget and according to agreed-upon schedules.
- Oversee the summarization of support and initiatives by examining KPIs related to the delivery of services, applications, and infrastructure to the Bank. Proactively resolve issues impeding the progress of key initiatives or critical support to the business.
- Continuously evaluate methods of improving operational efficiencies with the intention of controlling budgets and improving SLAs to internal/external clients.
- Oversees the support of all extant systems, especially those related to business income and compliance/risk management.
- Construct a strategic roadmap for the evolution of digital and data strategies to enhance intercommunication of information and a holistic digital environment.
- Oversee the construction of the base project plans and execution of plans against baseline in order to evolve data governance, required architecture, and adoption of digital and data standards.
- Interpret plans by various business leaders, translating business requirements into a data model that supports the business needs.
- Provide business leaders with insight as to methods of managing and interpreting data in order to drive business results and innovative products/services.
- Vendor Management:
- Lead the efforts to select vendor partners via vendor market analysis, developing RFPs and providing rubrics for vendor comparison.
- Negotiate services, products, and contracts with vendors to obtain the best benefit to cost ratios.
- Enhance relationships with vendor partners, developing strategic and practical relationships maximizing the efficacy of selected vendor products/services within the Bank.
