1. To implement the financial policies, procedures and strategy of the bank in the Gambia business to enhance performance
2. Manages company’s budget including revenue/direct margin, EBITDA or CAPEX level and drives the yearly budget exercise and forecast with line management.
3. Reports variances of revenue, OPEX, direct margin or investment/contract to provide an accurate financial situation with identification of risk and opportunity.
4. Analyzes recommend and approves investment or profitability for complex files or projects (e.g. infrastructure, new products, promotions) and selects those that support company’s strategy and optimize its commercial position.
5. Develops financial plans, organizes product structure in a business logic way and supports/advises in decision making, investment, and customer offers.
6. Initiates, coordinates and tracks financial processes improvements and ensures the respect for financial standards and best practices.
7. Manages and motivates subordinate staff; reviews and assesses performance, builds employee capacity, supports their professional development and enables employees to optimize their contribution to the department
